Picture Time!

Not sure why some posted smaller than others??? We have had Tom and Emilie this week while the kid's are at camp working in the kitchen. We have had sooooo much fun. We have gone to the fair a couple of times and to the parks. We have had a birthday party for Paul and gone to Scotty's for icecream. So all in all a pretty full and fun week. They are sleeping good and doing great. I am so glad to have this awesome time with them.

Happy Birthday Honey!

Kirby had his 47th Birthday yesterday. We went out to dinner alone (nice) and then joined family and friends at Scotty's Ice-Cream Parlor for a triple layer, triple fudge cake! We had a lot of fun playing ping pong and poker. It's a christian owned Establishment so we all have great fellowship there. My mother will be moving here in a couple of weeks. We are all excited to have her join us. We are working like crazy around here to get ready. Caleb and Mandie went to camp this week so we have Tom and Emilie. Fun!!! We are going to take them to the fair!

Family + Food + Fireworks = FUN

We had a great 4Th! Kirby's Mother was here visiting. The babies loved having Great Grandma Lucy here. We had a 3rd birthday party for Emilie. The theme was Tinker Belle. She was adorable and very happy!!!

On the 4Th we grilled hamburgers and had salads and cake. We all went to the city fireworks display. It was beautiful. Thomas was so cute clapping.

Sunday morning we took Grandma to the airport and then Sunday evening we had church in the park. It was a beautiful evening. Paul brought his guitar. Him and Grace sang a special and then he led us in worship. We had a beautiful time in Gods word led by Kirby. We grilled hot dogs and laughed at Tom and Ema trying to spit out cherry seeds! My shirt is covered in cherry juice, Cheetos's and watermelon! ha ha I love being a Grammy! :)

We are getting the house ready for a new addition to our home. My Mother will be moving here the end of July. We are all excited about this. She will be our WMB Leader here in our local church. She is going to teach Noelle how to sew. Noelle is so excited. We are all going to enjoy Moms company.

I woke up with that song playing in my head. It has stayed there all morning. So I have spent the morning pondering. I went online and looked up devotions on that scripture and found so many good thoughts. I love quiet moments with God alone in the morning. It is my favorite time of day. I wish I could walk with God in the cool of the evening like Adam and Eve. Wow! How awesome would that be? I do feel his presence in a quiet way. The moments that I spend alone with Him are calming. comforting, sustaining, to say the least. He is calling us to a closer walk with him. I long to be in His presence. I love to be in His presence. I want to be still.
